Alisa’s Piano Studio Celebrates Record-Breaking Certificate of Merit Performance Showcase

On Saturday, March 14, the students of Alisa’s Piano Studio proudly presented their annual Certificate of Merit (CM) Performance Showcase, celebrating the hard work, dedication, and musical growth achieved throughout this year’s CM season.

This year marked a record-breaking milestone for the studio. A total of 34 students participated in the Certificate of Merit program, making it the largest CM participation in the history of the school. Out of those participants, 30 students successfully passed their evaluations, and an impressive 19 students passed with honors, reflecting the high level of preparation and commitment demonstrated by our students.

Even more remarkable, two students achieved perfect scores of 100%, an extraordinarily rare accomplishment that highlights both exceptional musicianship and discipline.

The performance showcase took place at Desert Ridge in Victorville, where 25 students performed live in front of friends, family members, and community supporters. The performance provided students with the opportunity to share the repertoire they worked so hard to prepare for the CM evaluations and celebrate their accomplishments together as a musical community.

Events like the Certificate of Merit Showcase are an important part of the musical journey at Alisa’s Piano Studio. They allow students to build confidence, refine their performance skills, and experience the joy of sharing music with others. Seeing the growth of each student, from their first scales and sight-reading exercises to polished performances on stage, is one of the most rewarding parts of our program.

We are incredibly proud of every student who participated in this year’s Certificate of Merit program. Their dedication, discipline, and love for music continue to inspire our entire studio community.

As we celebrate the success of this season, we now look ahead to the end-of-year recital, where even more students will have the opportunity to perform and showcase their progress.

With record participation this year, we are already excited about what the future holds. Next year is shaping up to be even bigger, and we cannot wait to continue supporting our students on their musical journeys.
